Emir Sertbay 

Emir graduated from Southampton University in 2011, a Russell Group law school; he qualified as an Advocate in Northern Cyprus in 2013 after successfully completing his Bar course.

During his experience in Northern Cyprus, he dealt with both Criminal and Civil cases which enabled him to appear before Magistrates Courts, Crown Courts, and Supreme Courts of Northern Cyprus on numerous occasions.

When Emir moved back to the UK, he started practicing Immigration Law and soon qualified as a Solicitor in 2021. Emir has over 7 years of experience in Immigration Law, including being the Head of Immigration during his time prior to joining to Manak Solicitors.

His experience covers all areas of Immigration Law such as: Private and Family Immigration, Business Immigration, Asylum Claims, and appeals at all stages. Emir’s work ethic has allowed him to continuously see a high success rate throughout his experience.
